These are some random shots of the week. We had our fill of lobster and we found some really, really good restaurants (like 40 Paper which had homemade gluten free pasta and desserts)! I felt like we all caught up on sleep and rest from a busy school year. We had a lot of fun outside which is way more than I can say for when we are at home (which is way too hot in the summertime). And I think we found a place we just might call home someday. We always leave Maine thinking that there's so much more we want to do. So, we're planning our next trip back!

Looks lovely!! I wish I had been there! All we've had recently is rain, grey skies, the occasional sunny moment and average temperatures of about 57 degrees! Summer - pah!!
Now I've read all the posts I really am jealous! It looks like it was a great vacation. I have 2 nights visiting friends in Worcester - mid west England soon and 3 nights touring the west coast of Scotland. We will stay one night at Balmacara near Plockton (where they filmed Hamish McBeth, if you ever saw that great Scottish TV series), then one night on Skye and another in Kilmartin - where we can go to see the standing stones etc.
Sounds like you guys had a great time. You will have some special memories from the summer. It makes me want to go to Maine!

We're back to SoCal tomorrow, leaving our dear ones in the heat and humidity.
