Sophie Digard

French designer Sophie Digard's fiber works make me swoon! They are gorgeous textural pieces of art. I happened upon them while looking at Selvedge's website and you have to see the variety of pattern, weave and colors that they show! And, when I saw on someone's blog that she was the one who designed the sweater from the movie "Bright Star", which I was trying to recreate, I fully am in awe of her talents! No, that sweater has not been finished. It takes forever to make the tiny lace weight circles. In fact, I need to do better on New Years Resolutions because I noticed that there may not have been one of them that I actually accomplished this year! I'll try to do better this coming year.
