birthday wishes "like a boss"!

I always say I'm the luckiest Mom because my kids always know how to make my birthday special! They both have their own ways... Caroline always writes touching letters to me, expressing things that I sometimes don't hear and I'm lucky that I do! She has written poems and drawn little pictures. This year along with the letter, she gave me a "free pass" to ask her to do anything! (I might keep that one until I'm old!)

Nathaniel is my comic artist. He knows I adore his cartoons so he made me this card which has some inside jokes in it-- I'll keep it and remember when he was 14 and so funny!:

Obviously I'm going to live until 180 so I have a ways to go yet! (I feel so young!)  Tomorrow night we're going to a new restaurant in town (which was completely booked tonight!): MA(i)SON, a farm to table restaurant with an urban vibe. It actually is in the same space that our old favorite Ephie Ophelia was in. The chef I know who worked at the CSA I was part of, is good friends with the couple that started the restaurant and highly recommended it. They've been very busy so it must be good! That is one good thing about living in Lancaster-- there are more chefs using food from our local farms.

Lots of birthdays this month! My mom's is today; Ruby's was yesterday so head over there to wish her a happy one; Diane's is coming up on Wednesday... did I forget anyone? Lots of Scorpios in my life! ;)

And THANK YOU for all the birthday wishes and presents I received already from my good friends and family!!!! You guys are all very special to me!!!
