feeling like summer

With the thermometer hovering near 90 degrees today, it's a bit easier to believe that school is almost out (June 7) and we'll be busy with a new schedule. I can't believe my oldest will be in high school! She is looking forward to it, so that's a good thing. It's Memorial Day Weekend here in the States so we'll be going to work picnics all weekend. What are you going to do?

90 degrees!! We've got 54 degrees today!! I can't believe that Caroline will be going to high school =gosh! And do tell her I enjoy what I do, enjoyed my studies at university and feel that social science was good for me - maybe not turning me into a high earner but a happy one.

I am off this weekend with the National Trust to Cairngorms National Park to destroy some trees! Ah - therapy!!

We are laying low this weekend. Dave's home and we have lots of little errands and things to do in this last weekend of being together before our trip to Taiwan. We did take the kids to see Kung Fu Panda 2 today. We liked it a lot, and it was a fun family outing. Hope your weekend is great!

We spent the long weekend in Chicago. We had our coats on. Now, we are hunkered down in the a/c as we came home to mid/high 90s. Not the best weather for soccer tryouts! Enjoy your last few days of school. Congrats to Caroline! I am sure she is more than ready for high school. Weren't we just there???

Je souhaite de très belles vacances à Caroline et Nathaniel ! Les vacances risquent d'être très prochainement raccourcies en France :( the kids are already under pressure all of the year and i guess that it will be a bit harder if they cut their summer holidays. I know a child who disagrees with that...
