California dreamin'...

Today was sunny and 70 degrees with a slight breeze.... PERFECT! It reminded me of Northern California weather and all I could think of was that I'm moving there. I don't know when, but I am. I started looking at real estate in Santa Rosa and Novato. I even know what kind of house I want. Not too big but with an open layout and light and sunny with windows and doors that lead to patios that are surrounded by flowers. They say if you picture something and want it badly enough, it just might happen so that's what I'm going to do. In the meantime, I'm just enjoying all the green that's popped up here in Lancaster. And tomorrow is already Friday! Can you believe it?

Livin' the dream here! Yes, Cali is beautiful in every season (except maybe Sept-Oct when it's really golden brown from dryness) but it's expensive and crowded. However, any time you want to move out here, I'd love it! We'd be neighbors!!

It's those kind of dreams that keep us smiling. It was a perfect day here too - a bit warmer, a breeze and NO humidity. It's all supposed to change with some chance of severe rolling through tomorrow.

Oh sigh! Look at that sun! I can certainly understand the desire to move. (and we're still expecting more sn*w on the weekend).

Well here's to California dreams and a happy weekend!

Heehee! More links in our lives. I have been to Novato! My friend Sabino worked at the Buck Institute for Research into Ageing when he lived in California - and it's in Novato - so my friend Matilde and I took a bus from SF to see where he works. I loved Mill Valley and our trip to Muir Woods National Monument - now those are trees! Happy hunting!

i LIVE in Santa Rosa!!! Have mostly lived here all of my life. You would love living here. But I've visited Lancaster and I think that has got to be one of the most beautiful places in the world.

I want the same kind of house :) With a greenhouse! Your photos are beautiful! Beautiful flowers! I like your Rob Ryan skirt very very much!
I keep my fingers crossed for two houses in the same area ;)

This is a wonderful dream and it's true! If you imagine and believe it will happen!
