This is such a busy week with Nathaniel's 13th birthday coming up on Saturday and Caroline's Confirmation tomorrow evening. For Nathaniel's birthday we got him a basketball hoop (I know... why did it take this long??!!)... so we've been playing a lot of basketball lately! I used to want to go to college on a basketball scholarship, but then I realized I wasn't that aggressive so I stopped playing. Every time I see a hoop, I just want to play to this day! I was a week behind in my bootcamp class too so I finally got those 3 drawings done! The first is in a medium of my choosing and I did acrylic and colored pencil on charcoal paper. The second is an ink wash (scanned... not as subtle as the original). And the third is a collage version. Here they are:
I'm also starting to work on another project with a friend here and I was doodling some pictures... you might guess what the subject is! ;) ....
I think I just broke my scanner! The last image was a photo from my camera. Ugh! It's always something.
I need to complete my assignment for this week and I know what I want to do... I just have to find some hours to do it! Right now I totally neglected making dinner for the family so I could get the last assignment done. I'm wondering if I really have time to pursue illustration while I keep up with all my responsibilities.
