I was just going to say your trees look just like Klimt! Bit slow at this time in the morning. I love Klimts paintings - he's so much more famous for The Kiss but his landscapes inspire me even more. I once queued for 2 hours in Paris to see an exhibit of his and it was worth every minute of the wait. You should look at Hornel - I know he has people in his paintings but I love the scenery and style.
Hi Beth! I went to a meeting once in Glasgow University, just in a small non-descript meeting room - but there was a Hornel on the wall, just there in a meeting room that no-one really uses!
Di, that is amazing. It makes you wonder how many treasures are out there that are not being appreciated! Maybe you should call the University and offer a small amount to buy the painting... I wonder if they realize what they have there!
