I put in the larger areas of color today. I can't wait to start getting in more detail, though it was fun to get a lot of paint down today. And I tend to rush, so I'm going to have to slow down a lot to do the trees well in the background... there's so many and they are going to be very thin.
My kids are going to their grandparents' house this weekend so I'm planning on some fun things here. Hope you have a good weekend too!

Jealous of your kid-free time. Have a great weekend!
It's already beautiful. You could leave it like it is right now and I'd love it :)

Thank you guys!!!! I always feel better about things when I get comments like this :)
I LOVE THIS! I am thinking of you getting the whole weekend to paint and trying, trying not to be envious! The colors are incredible! Maybe you will paint two so your good friend can buy one??
Love you guys! Tell Caroline to make sure she knows the verb 'travailler" and apply it toward her French class! HA!
Really starting to come together now. Already - that front tree, I am loving the details that are in the trunk.
Okay, who are you Clearheart?!!! I know I probably know you so let me know! ;)
Beth,
It's Caroline! Someone gave me that name Clear Heart years ago before I even knew what such a name was for! (C.H. = Clear Heart). Sorry, all along I just thought you knew. How creepy for you! And I cannot figure out how to change that silly photo! That's Isabel's Barbie cake! HA!
Happy Painting Weekend, dear friend!
this is really beautiful and so peaceful, kind of what my backyard looks like this morning too!
It's a very nice begining! I love it!
