Pennsylvania winter landscape

I'm always amazed at how the colors and textures change so much with every little change in the season and the weather. We finally got a little snow a few days ago but it disappeared as soon as it came. The weathermen were calling for it again tonight but the sky is pretty blue and only a few clouds are in it... I think we won't be seeing snowflakes any time soon! I hope you enjoy this little peek into our area. Just looking at these photos inspires me to draw or paint!

A wonderful inspiration! i love the light we have a this time of the year, and if we don't have any clouds in the sky the 25th, i can't wait to admire the light.

I'll share some of our snow with you!! We got about 19-20 inches from Friday night to Sunday morning last weekend on top of about 8 inches we already had on the ground. That was the 5th largest snowstorm since they've been keeping records. We are suposed to get another 4-6 inches tonight starting at evening commute time. No worries about a white Christmas here in Minnesota!!
