I just found Nicola Killen through the Illustration Friday website and I am in love with her drawings and the textures and colors she uses in them! She has a new book coming out and right now you can register for her give-away (signed book, stickers, postcards, Christmas cards, and a personalized character just for you!... very, very generous!). Go here to enter! I also found out that she got her Masters in Children's Book Illustration!!! Why did I not know that there was such a thing?? Suddenly I'm contemplating actually going back to school....

The illustration is really great. I think you'd love to study that course and you'd be great at it!
