Lately the creative projects around here have been of the crafting and decorating sort. I was sick all weekend so yesterday I sat in my big velvet chair and crocheted some tiny granny squares for my Bright Star sweater that I'm trying to recreate. I think I got the yarn right this time. It takes awhile to do each one so at this rate I might finish it by next year! There were "Little House on the Prairie" reruns on yesterday afternoon which is the perfect thing to watch when you're not feeling good and/or crocheting. The little "squares" (which are looking oval at the moment) are so beautiful... and so small!!!
The other work in progress is our kitchen/dining area/family room which we painted red with white trim a couple weeks ago. It's still not finished. We are putting up crown moulding and I have to put up the white drapes we bought. Actually Craig did all of the painting. I picked the color. I'll take more photos when it's finished but these are just to prove to my family that it really is painted! Benjamin Moore Aura paint is the best-- two coats was all it took!
