time to make the garden

We are finally going to try square foot gardening, starting out with just a 4'x4' and then some containers for herbs separately. I got this book a couple years ago but wasn't able to try it last summer during my work at Hatch. I'm excited to have fresh vegetables that are free from chemicals and gmo's, and taste wonderful! Here's a free planner online that we found very helpful.

I briefly clicked on the planner - fun software. I've thought about a garden, but it just gets SO hot. I opted for a CSA instead. This CSA pick up is closer to my house and we'll get fresh eggs!

Great link to the garden planner! Thanks! It's wise to start with a small garden so you don't get overwhelmed.
