And the house is busy preparing for Christmas Eve!! This morning I baked a beautiful Chocolate Mousse Cake ... the recipe came from an older Cooks Illustrated Magazine I had on my bookshelf. That should satisfy all the chocoholics around here!

Then I started to prepare the Chateaubriand to make another Cooks Illustrated Recipe for
Roast Beef Tenderloin with Carmelized Onions and Mushroom Stuffing.

I'm almost ready to do the next step. I feel like a gourmand today! We'll eat this tonight with baked potatoes, green beans, an arugula salad with walnut, proscuitto, fig and Parmesan dressing, italian bread and later the chocolate mousse cake. Tonight we also attend the Christmas Eve Mass which is a tradition for me. I love being in Church as Christmas begins.
I know I promised more info about fat... I'll do that after all the Christmas activities are over. The kids can't wait to open presents tomorrow so they've been bouncing off the walls today! I'm looking forward to a relaxing day... we're supposed to get bad weather again so it's just as well that we're home tomorrow.
I hope all your Christmas wishes come true!
