"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!..."

I kept looking out the windows this morning when there was more snow cover and was mesmerized by the beauty of it all. I don't understand how every single year it seems like something new when the first snow comes. It's just all so gorgeous!!!

Ellie LOVES the snow... she eats it and hops and prances about in it!

Looks like the sun is beginning to melt it all...

Happy St. Nicholas Day! I actually forgot it was today but the kids reminded me last night when they put out their slippers. Luckily St. Nick keeps little things tucked away for occasions like this. And he shares my affinity for Lindt truffles... imagine that! I did get one Happy St. Nick's Day note today (thanks Paul!) and hope everyone else is getting in the holiday spirit! ;)

I got cookies from the German/Greek friends for Sinterklas! They weren't in my shoes this morning but I did bring them back from their house last night.
I can't imagine that anywhere in the world is cold enough for snow. Not when we're just leaving our hottest November in recent history. It doesn't bode well for a cool Christmas day around these parts! We will be sweltering and you'll be making snow men!
We do celebrate St. Nicholas Day also ! But in Paris, they don't, so i haven't find any ginger St. Nicholas :( and as Clara never forget to put out her slippers... She founds a Santa Claus in chocolate :)))
It's already snowing ? it was'nt cold enough here, but we will loose more thant ten degrees tomorrow...
Lindt truffles... mmmmmm
Happy Christmas season !!! xoxo
