Walking through the field behind my house just inspires me. The colors, the patterns, the textures all are so interesting. I hope these photos are inspiring to you too!
Beth, the photos are lovely! Such great colours. The funny thing is that I too took a walk yesterday to photograph the autumn colours - off to my favourite place, Tenstmuir Beach and Forest.
I see you have a photo of the seed head (the one with all the start like seeds in it) in a slightly less dried state than the one i posted a couple of weeks back.....it looks beautiful!
This is the kind of things who inspire me very much ! Your photos are beautiful as your field ! it does look still very green compare to our fields here :) Your watercolor is magnificent !!! xo
These photos are wonderful! I recall reading in one of April Cornell's books that when she is starting new designs for her fabric lines, she walks outside and examines the colors in nature for inspiration. Nature doesn't always 'match' but it always looks right.
