June Summer Art Camp Show

Here are photos from my June Summer Art Kids' Show! I think they were a talented group from the little ones to the older kids. It is always inspiring to see what they create when given a lesson. They did acrylic paintings, contour drawings, wire sculptures, printing with sea shells and fabric paint, paper collage in the style of Eric Carle and designed their own surfboards. The little ones also did paper clay sculptures of a squid or octopus. And they got to make their own buttons! I miss them already :)

wow, all of these are terrific. i love kids art! looks like a talented little group :)

i wish my little sister had a place like this to go to... i would sign her up in a heartbeat! esp. since her school is canceling all art, music and pe classes, can you believe that?! makes me really mad, i hope they move. in the meantime, i'll send her little boxes with craft items and instructions to supplement, but it's not the same...

Benjamin is anxiously awaiting his turn for art camp, Beth! He can't wait to go to Hatch like Sabastian did. I will have to post some photos of his latest artwork...he gets the yen to paint and comes up with the most interesting paintings! I can't wait to see what he does with a little bit of instruction from you. Hope you guys are doing well!

these are wonderful! I loved teaching children - they are so ready to explore and create! The wire sculpture project is especially inspiring - for them to grasp a concept in both 2D and 3D is fantastic.
