design sponge and lots of snow

I know I've heard of design*sponge a million times before but I finally really went there and checked out everything... I'm in love!  There is such a wealth of information and inspiration there. You absolutely must go and see. When I found Amy Butler's recipe for Red Velvet Cupcakes, I knew I was in love!!!

Last evening I peeked out the window to see lots and lots of snow falling! February is our snow month in Pennsylvania. This morning nature had laid 6 inches of white powdery snow everywhere! The kids are off of school and it is a winter wonderland! It's truly gorgeous, with blue skies, sunshine and white everywhere! We got a little present today of time, to enjoy the beauty around us. Now to get these sleepy heads into their snow clothes, grab the sleds and enjoy it!

It is gorgeous! Hope you had some fun sledding. The Red Velvet reminds of the South. I had not heard of it until I moved here.

I was just down in MT today for an appointment...what a weird storm! The further south I drove, the more snow there was...we didn't get anything up here! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

The Design*Sponge website is great but your snow looks even greater! I missed all the snow here in Dundee by being in Germany for 3 days (where there was no snow)! Boo hoo!
