I am in such a good mood because I got to spend my evening with one of my favorite people~ Rachel-Marie! She is teaching knitting classes at Lancaster Yarn Shop and we started a fingerless glove tonight. I'm knitting it for Caroline, who loves purple. Rachel-Marie knew that so she made this yarn for me (called "Bethany's Violet Riot"!) with purples and a little sparkle thrown in there! We could talk all night! She also showed me where she downloads podcasts so I'm getting a little more tech savvy while getting crafty too!Here's Rachel-Marie in a candid shot (sorry, none of me... If you ever come to visit Lancaster (or you live here!!), you have to come down to Gallery Row and check out LYS!! Wendy carries the nicest yarns, especially Rachel-Marie's (I call myself her yarn groupie!) and it is always a fun place to be! Plus, you may see me there! ;)

I wish I lived closer...that looks like so much fun! I tried to find knitting classes here in Lebanon, but the one place that had them closed. Maybe when the kids are a bit older I can make the trek at night...

Great minds must think alike! I just bound off one of the pair of fingerless mittens. I am making them for the Big Guy just using scrap yarn here at the house. Your yarn looks much more interesting. I am not sure he will wear them. Who knows! It may be warm by the time I finish the mate. Have fun at your class!
