bad news, good news

The bad news is that I can't have the end space now... the good news is that the yoga studio is going in there again! And the better news is that we are looking at a space on the other end which has more windows (not such great display windows) but more light, with double doors and is highly visible from the connecting street! So I'm happy. We should be meeting this week to sign the lease and go over how they will finish the space!!! I'm too excited!

Here's a great quote I found out of Weekend Knitting by Melanie Falick (I'm knitting the fingerless mitts out of it for my class!):

"He who works with his hands is a laborer.
He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman.
He who works with his hands, his head, and his heart, is an artist."
~ St. Francis of Assissi

I'm sorry that I've been so super busy and haven't been a great friend lately... I promise that I'll catch up when I can and I am always thinking about each one of you, wondering what things are occuring in your corner of the world!! I love you!

Bethany, We all have our days and weeks where we are just busy with life. Everything is fine :)

It will be good for your business to have maximum exposure on the corner.

That quote is great! Whatever happens business will be good I am sure and I think having the yoga studio nearby is a positive thing - all those yoga loving mommas who want their kids to have an arty up-bringing!

man i bet it will feel good to sign the lease and be done with that. then on to the good things...more natural light is good for the artist anyway, right?
