so far.

I finally knew what I wanted for the front illustration on my Christmas card! I wanted to dedicate this to my Grandma, but I wanted it to mean something more than just baking cookies or sewing or gardening. I wanted it to show the love I felt from her. It is a mother's love, passed down through my own mom, to me, to my own children. Just like Mary's to baby Jesus. I am so excited to ink this in. I am in love with the feeling I get from looking at it. At least I will love it!

It's perfect. So much more meaningful/personal than most 'standard' Christmas cards.

Oh wow - it gave me goosebumps when I saw it - just like the bird print you made did the year Grandpa passed away. You've captured her lobve in the truest sense and in the plain, simple way she gave it, which made it that much more special.

I can't wait to see it when it's done! She would be slightly embarassed by the attention but oh so proud of you for sharing your talent and your artwork!

Great work, cousin!! :)
