he put me to work

Do you remember my post about painting the dining room and hallway? Well, we never really finished the trim on half of it! I'm embarrassed to say that life got a little busy (and I'm lazy when it comes to painting walls and trim.)  So Craig took off work for the day so he could put me to work!!!

I thought that's why I married a handsome handyman... so I didn't HAVE to do these things!! Ah well...
I thought I'd show you one of our favorite October treats... pumpkin gum drops!:

Hope you're having a good day (and not painting trim like me!)

Can you come over and do ours when you are finished? I am impressed that you tape it all out. I gave up on taping years ago. I am sure your artistic hand is steadier than mine! You will be so glad to have it done and behind you. Have fun painting!

My goodness you certainly are right. You did marry a handsome handyman! I can see so much of your husband in Nathaniel after seeing that shot! I don't do painting above my reach. I don't do ladders! Jen

Your actually very lucky you have someone to help and motivate you... one wall in my living room has been waiting to be painted for probably 5 months. I ran out of paint and well even though I bought a new gallon the wall still is yet to see the brush... and my husband NEVER helps with painting!

Oh groan....I just hate painting the woodwork too! I know it looks lovely when it's done and all that but it's such a drag!

Good job you have a handsome handyman and pumpkin gumballs to keep you going!!

The gum drops look so decorative and festive - I've never seen those before! Trim is just gastly to paint - but it has to be done ... and with such a handsome handyman by your side it can't be that bad?

We always tape everything, too. I just hate scraping paint or repainting OVER a spot. I have a few places here that need a touch up. Come on over!
