Well, after a year or so of Craig saying, "I wish you could make money with your blog" I discovered a way that I possibly could (Is he saying I spend WAY too much time blogging??). Since I have an addiction to books (you may have noticed that), and I have to start earning some money to support my habit, I decided to open my amazon.com bookstore! This is a great way to hightlight the books that I talk about and if you do choose to buy one also, you can purchase it through my bookstore straight from amazon.com. I am still planning on opening an etsy shop but for now, Red Yarn is opening doors at amazon! I did always dream of owning a bookshop... too bad I can't set out coffee and tea, and greet you in person! ;)
Here's the
Red Yarn Book Store Link. Or you can go to my sidebar and click on that. Thanks and you're welcome to come visit with me over there...

I love the painting. At first glance, I thought it was Jane from years ago. Then, I looked closer!!

Cool! I'll be interested to hear how it does--I've never known anyone who did that. I'm sure you'll be very popular; you have such marvelous taste in books!
Good luck with your shop!
Your pictures of your trip look like so much fun!!! You must have just had the times of your life. Trips are wonderful... but it feels so good to come home doesn't it?! I'm kind of a home body anyways... but road trips are so fun because of all the unexpected adventures! Welcome back...

Congratulations on your new bookstore!
I am such a sucker for books, I just can't go into a book store without buying some.
Truly not wanting to steal your idea, but could you explain how having your "own Amazon" works?? Or include a link to read about how this works? Karen Greenfield
That is fantastic! Congratulations! By the way, what is it about husbands and their perpetual desire for us to make money?
By the way, that painting is incredible!
Sorry I keep leaving so many comments. I looked at your cute little store. I just bought the book Nourishing Traditions for my mom a few months ago. It is fantastic!
Its very nice of you ! I am at home and its a very cold day today here !

Congratulations on your store Bethany. You must be tickled pink. Very exciting. Who better to ask about books than you? Jen
Hurray for you! A book store owner! This will be great training for opening a 'real' street front one some day! Then you can have the tea, coffee and muffins, too.
I think the bookstore thing is kind of fun just to keep seeing your fave books as you blog, good luck with it.
Your bookstore looks great Bethany - I hope it is a real success. Great book choices :)
