Nathaniel was a lucky boy this weekend when he received a special little package all the way from France! Olivia and her daughter Clara sent him a puzzle from the Museum of Jean de La Fontaine with an illustration of La greouille et le boeuf, a fable. The other wonderful package they sent was full of girl things, so they wanted to make up for it by sending Nathaniel something directly for him! I keep telling him how cute Clara is, but he gets too embarressed by that!

What a treat for Nathaniel! And, what a great way to continue learning about fables.
We'd love to come stay and use some of your A/C if you even need it. It did cool down with lots of rain from remnants of Fay. We aren't as miserable.

Moi je me doutais que Nathaniel allait dire : il n'y a que des trucs de filles ! Je suis contente qu'il ai reçu le puzzle. J'adore la plupart des fables de La Fontaine. J'en connais beaucoup par cœur, mais il y en a que je ne connais pas.
