I found the perfect idea for leftover scraps when making my quilt! (What quilt, you may ask? This one... yes, I know you've forgotten about it, as I seem to have also.) Anyways, Sugar City Journal highlighted this German blog by a mother/daughter team of two very talented ladies called Neu4bauer. Even though they made the pillows for their couch, I thought it was a brilliant idea for pillow shams on my bed! I'm sure some of you have fabric pieces lying around waiting to be used for something like this too!

i love the idea!!!! awww all of the european whiteness. i love it. even though everything in my house is so colorful. maybe i should have a white room just to get away from all of the busyness around me!

bethany i checked online with usps to see if you had received your apron yet, it says they left a notice for you to pick it up at the post office. did you see a notice? i mailed your apron by certified mail aug.15. please let me know the status. i want to make sure you get it and they don't mail it back to me.

The idea for shams is great! I was taken aback at first thinking the pictures was of the shams you made to go with your quilt. I did not think your quilt scraps looked like that. But, it has been awhile since we saw the quilt! Just teasing you a bit! There are so many options for adding the quilt pieces to the sham.
