You need an iron stomach when that little man is in the goal box! THAT makes me nervous. Last fall I commented about headers and my fear you'd get hurt. Peanut took me literally and did not do headers. Now, he's past my paranoia nailing the ball with his head when he needs to. I just take deep breaths hoping it doesn't rattle his brain too much:) Enjoy the games. Nathnaniel looks like he does.
My friend's little boy is the goal keeper for his team and was so excited this winter when he got long goalkeeper trousers and a top to wear. His mum asked why, he said well now I can dive to save a ball. His mum asked why wouldn't he have dived before and he said no because he didn't want to get dirty because he didn't want to have to have a bath when he got home!! His mum said, you'll be having a bath even if you haven't dived in the mud to save the goal so you might as well dive..... perhaps his team may not lose so many goals anymore!
