So sweet. Is the gift a tutu? Just adorable, Beth.
I used to make cards to send to the little boy I babysat for when I was in high school. He still has every single one of them (he's 19 now) and is an artist himself. I'm so proud of him!
I'm sure the kids who get your lovely sketches keep them as well...they're really special.
Yes! I ordered one from Nathalie at Kennedy & Friends... it's really cute! And Natalie is a little red-head who I know will enjoy dressing up in it! She's my cousin's daughter.
The card is adorable. The tutus are cute too. If only I had a little girl that needed one. I may keep them in mind for my godchild. I am impressed that you are making the card, got the present, and getting everything ready for your mom. You go!
As for the bike thing, the director of the parks & rec called me this morning. The mayor forwarded my email. He was very understanding, but sounded like there wasn't much he could do. He asked me to come speak to their advisory board. I am not good at that, but may give it a shot. I am hoping to convince David, the amazing debater, to give it a shot. In the meantime, I have to enlist the help of my friends to call the town and voice their support of the bikes on the path.
