My head feels like it's in the clouds... I have a cold and a sore throat and a cough... one of those "shoot me now!" moments. I tried different creative things all day since I was stuck at home sick, but nothing turned out. I about gave up on being an artist. But maybe when I'm better, things won't seem so dismal. It's hard to see so many great things going on in everyone else's work and then be so uninspired by your own work. Maybe tomorrow it will look different. I have to get my head out of this cloud!!!

Thanks for your comment on the tea candle. My neighbor and I started making those about three years ago.
We just thought they were adorable...it would seem that others do too as they are popping up all over.

We all have those days. It totally has to do with how sick you are feeling. No one is creative when she has a cold and sore throat.

Aw...feel better! We were all down with a bad case of the flu on Sophie's first birthday (bummer)--I don't think I've felt so horrible in years. Plus, I was feeling incredibly uninspired at the same time, so it was a real drain.
Take care of yourself--try a bath with lots of bubbles. Always works for me!
