I appreciate his gentle, thoughtful spirit and the profound influence he had on theology-- the understanding of the importance of both reason and revelation in our faith. He was misunderstood by his own family and thought to be dumb by fellow students because of how quiet he was. But once he spoke, there was no doubt of his wisdom. Never underestimate someone who is quiet.

We talked about St Angelica Merici today in PRE. Her order was named Ursuline. It made be think of home (Cincy) never realizing why the high school was named what it was. Her order had a specific habit but I did not look that up yet...
