My talented son

Here is a drawing that Nathaniel did on our train ride back on Saturday night. He drew from a stuffed figure of Scar that he got after the show:

When I pulled the drawing, I saw this adorable picture of him when he was only 3 at his Montessori class, working hard! What a face! Now he is 9 1/2... time flies... before we know it, he'll be leaving for college!!!

and then it's the army or grad school in another state or country all together, but when they phone home, they will still be our boys and still say, "Hi, favorite mommy!"

Looks like he's got some of his Mom's talents! What a marvelous, detailed drawing!

The drawing is very impressive.

I love his baby face. You are right the years seem to be flying by.

I volunteered in the lunch room at middle school today. We are reaching the age where it is not cool to acknowledge mom. It makes me want to embarrass him even more!

Great drawing and I love the concentration on his face in the photo.
Happy Birthday!!! So glad you had such a lovely weekend with your beautiful family.

Look at that cute little face! And what a talented artist! Must take after his Momma.

Remember the old commercial: If they could just stay little 'till their Carter's wear out...

Love,
Julie
