The next print is a lithograph which was done on a very thick piece of limestone. The image is drawn with a wax pencil, the acid bath is done and a print pulled. Again Andy chose his Studebaker for the main subject. He was from central Ohio were there was more farmland and that tends to be reflected in his art:
The last print is actually his Christmas card he sent to me. It is also a lithograph and on the back of the card he wrote, "1963 Studebaker Lark Regal Wagonaire - Lithograph 1988". I told you he liked them! One time he went to a car show during the summer break and sent me a photo of a Ferrari at a car show he went to... as if I would like that or something??!!(He and Craig would get along great!):

I guess I missed your post from yesterday. Sorry about that! He sounds like an interesting fellow and I gotta say I love his taste in cars. It's no 1957 Chevy BelAir convertible mind you. But it'll do!

p.s. My sister named her Golden Retriever, Hobbes after the character - her favorite.
Could this be him??? It says he lives in Pittsburgh.

I left a comment at that blog site, wondering if it is him, but it didn't look like his work...
