As children do...

Why don't we see the world like children anymore?
Photo from "Amelie" the movie.

Unfortunately, we've been tainted by celebrities, politicians, criminals and so many more that we no longer see the natural beauty in things or persons. It's such a shame. Our society is warped and sinful. But there are a few redeeming people out there, like yourself, who'd like to step back in time when we were full of innocence and splendor.

Love,
Julie

Here, Here! I did a children's t-shirt for Delta once that had a happy plane with lots of clouds around it making shapes of landmarks in their hub cities. Great fun. And it got me a sweet bonus!

I agree totally. It's so easy to get caught up in boring grown-up stuff.
My little Minx had school photos today so we had a great giggle on the walk to school practising 'photo faces' - most of which were very unattractive to say the least.
My Mum used to live by 'You should always make time to stop and smell the roses'.

I love this movie, Amelie's childhood in particular.

I want to see the world again, like a child. You know the Peter Gabriel lyrics, "in your eyes, the light the heat", well, in your eyes I see that, but I also see the wonder of the world, like what a child would see - it's precious.
