Yes, I found another new blog of a "crafter" (I still have an adversion to that word from my college days) who is unique, I think: Bella Dia . Somehow she's raising three children on her own, working, homeschooling and making her crafts. How does one do all that?!Here is the book I'm reading now:
Amy Karol from Angry Chicken wrote it and the best part I've gleaned from it is : You should change your sewing machine needle after every project, or at least every other project. This helps prevent the puckering and uneven sewing. Who knew??? Maybe I'm the only one in the dark about that.***I just noticed today that Amy blogged about toys made in China. She gives a whole list of alternatives: things she's made herself and toy stores that don't use parts made in China (which is difficult to find.) Check out the finger puppet theater (funny!).
Other than that, I need to pack up all the school books and materials from last year and drop them off to UPS. And Copy Max is having Free Lamination Thursday today for any teacher. We have some multiplication cards to laminate. Here's the book we're trying:

So Happy Thursday!

I am such a helpless sew-er that I almost cry if I break a needle and have to spend 20 minutes trying to figure out how to change it! I can't imagine chinging it every time. Well, i guess for me that would be for my once or twice a year projects!!
Ugh! We hate to hear about the brown man. Ship FedEx!
OH! Ha! The school sent us prepaid labels... I have no choice but to go UPS (sorry Becky)! Otherwise, I trust FedEx for my own stuff!!!!
Good to see multiplication tables are still important , during my time as a primary teacher it was one trhing I could not stress enough , I regarded it as so important.
