This photo has made it's way here through Erinn at happy living blog (where I saw it) and originally a project that Terra Nova did in California. Recycled concrete used as patio stones. Yep, that's what I'm thinking too!

I am blogging a lot... too much time in front of the computer!! It's just too hot here to do much outside. I was wondering if you were going to do your "8 things"! :) Just do whatever pops in your head (I could have done 50 of those!!!)
When we tore up an old sidewalk to renovate, I saved the chunks and made a short garden path out of it, filled in with peagravel. It took lots of gravel, since the sidewalk is thick, but it worked. the concrete guys here to pour the new entry to the house laughed at me quite a bit, but I thought it looked cool
